Description: natplant displays the boundaries of native plant preservation plan areas in Pima County.
Known Errors/Qualifications: Not all native plant preservation plan areas are represented in natplant. Natplant polygons are only created for developments where the native plant preservation plan sheets of the whole development plan (or subdivision plat) have been archived as a separate native plant preservation plan image set. Since 2008, the native plant preservation plan sheets have been archived as part of the landscape plan image set (instead of as a separate native plant plan image set), along with the landscape plan sheets, when they are archived separately from the development plan.
Spatial Domain: Pima County
Rectified: parcel
Maintenance Organization: Pima County ITD GIS
Maintenance Description: No new or changed native plant preservation plan images are expected, generally this layer should not need maintenance. Polygons representing 42 native plant preservation plans, for which there are images, have not yet been created. When these are added, an updated shapefile will be provided to the GIS library.

Description: imppln shows improvement plan areas for drainage, paving, grading and sewer for subdivisions and offsite. Improvement Plans can overlap. As of 9/2013, this layer is historical and any updates reflect plan approvals in progress. New DOT Improvement Plans are now in the dev_perm layer.
Description: Improvement District Plans (impdist) shows individual improvement district boundaries. Improvement District plans are for what constituents in a particular improvement district are asking for (paving, lights, speed bumps, etc.). Improvement District plan areas can overlap.
Description: impctcot delineates City of Tucson Development Impact Fee Areas. Fees raised in one part of the city are to be spent in that same part of the city on various types of infrastructure. In addition, impact fees are reduced in the central, developed core of town.
Known Errors/Qualifications: Due to slight boundary conditions, overlay analysis is not appropriate to determine if a parcel is in a specific benefit area or not. Parcel overlay analysis may include a parcel that's outside the area but overlaps this layer by an insignificant amount due to slight spatial discrepancies in either layer.

Description: Layer created to identify subdivisions that are assessed impact fees at a special rate based on a retirement discount and/or a high density. PC Development Services will be able to hover over a subdivision and tell if it is a special rate impact fee. This special rate is different than all other impact fees assessed to devlopment in Pima County.

Name: Historical Development Plan Waivers and Streamlined Procedures
Display Field: PROJ_NAME
Type: Feature Layer
Geometry Type: esriGeometryPolygon
Description: dpwaiver displays the historical boundaries of development case areas in Pima County subject to a development plan waiver or streamlined procedure process.
Known Errors/Qualifications: dpwaiver polygons only exist for development plan waiver and streamlined procedure cases for which Pima County Development Services has images. These development cases are historical, dating from 1987-1996. The location information provided on the images was used to create the polygons, this location data is historical. Not all of these cases could be assigned a modern location; some of the polygons created might be miss-located.
Lineage: 02/09/2015- original dpwaiver shapefile completed from polygons representing historical development waiver images
04/02/2015- additional polygon features added

Description: This layer was updated in late 2011 and released in March 2012 by PAG to include multiple permit jurisdictions. Each jurisdiction maintains its own permit.PCAZPDES displays the jurisdictional boundaries for Phase I (large), Phase II (medium and small) and non-traditional Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Systems (MS4) that have received an Arizona Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (AZPDES) MS4 permit. These boundaries are useful to industrial business, the construction industry, stormwater managers and consultants supporting their client’s compliance with stormwater requirements. Users will be able to identify which of the eight MS4s their work is pertinent to. Pima Association of Governments (PAG) created the map at the request of the Stormwater Management Working Group (SWMWG) based on data provided by each jurisdiction individually. These polygons are a dataset representing MS4 boundaries within Pima County. Key attribute fields from each dataset are the name of the MS4 and the phase or type (I, II, or non-traditional). Contact names and website are available separately at this time. The data changes as jurisdictions grow or update their permits. Contact Mead Mier at PAG for more information. Please credit all data sources.

Description: addrquad displays address system areas as four NW, NE, SE and SW quadrants for Tucson area, Green Valley, Corona de Tucson, Ajo, and Why.
Known Errors/Qualifications: While address system boundaries were created using the ordinance, the origin of the points for Corona de Tucson, Green Valley, Ajo and Why were generated using existing addresses.
Addressing system boundaries from the ordinance were modified as needed to reflect actual address locations, streets and parcel boundaries.
In such special addressing areas as Corona de Tucson and Green Valley, there are some addresses that follow the Tucson addressing numbering system.
03/19/2014 - Adjustment of boundaries in the NE corner of section 17S13E13.
