Description: Pictometry uses a grid of squares called "sectors" that define a project area. The tiles represent the areas covered by each of the 4-inch resolution orthophotos in JPG format in the Pictometry 2008 data "AZPIMA08-093-TILES-4INCH" directory. pt08sor4 is that sector grid for the 2008 Pictometry 4 inch orthophotos in the Tucson metropolitan area. Known Errors/Qualifications: While these pictometry sectors are approximately 1/2 mile square, they are not based on PLSS quarter sections and are offset considerably from the PLSS section grid. Lineage: Unlike layer pt08sor1 whichwas delivered in a projection of NAD83 HPGN METERS, presumably by mistake, this layer was correctly delivered in our projection of NAD83 HPGN International Feet.
