Layer: Pictometry 2020 Orthophoto Tiles (ID: 8)

Name: Pictometry 2020 Orthophoto Tiles

Display Field: ImageName

Type: Feature Layer

Geometry Type: esriGeometryPolygon

Description: Pictometry uses a grid of approximately half-mile square areas called "cells" that define a project area. Pictometry sometimes still refers to these as "sectors", even though the cell size changed for 2020. This pt20so39 layer was made by appending the two original Pictometry 3-inch and 9-inch individual photo areas described below to make one layer. A new RESOLUTION field with '3-inch' or '9-inch' was added. pt20sor3 displays individual 3-inch orthophoto tiles areas where each ortho tile covers a square area consisting of a full "cell". pt20sor9 displays individual 9-inch orthophoto tiles areas where each ortho tile covers a square area consisting of one full "cell". The tiles defined by this layer represent the areas covered by each of the 3-inch and 9-inch resolution orthophotos in JPG format in the Pictometry 2020 data "AZPIMA20-TILES-3INCH" and "AZPIMA20-TILES-9INCH" directories. Known Errors/Qualifications: While these Pictometry cells are approximately 1/2 mile square, they are not based on PLSS sections and are offset considerably from the PLSS section grid. Lineage: This pt20so39 layer was made by appending the two original Pictometry pt20sor3 and pt20sor9 layers individual photo areas to make one layer. A new RESOLUTION field with '3-inch' or '9-inch' was added.
