description: VETBOUND displays the approximate boundaries of the areas platted for Veteran's Tracts, by section. This layer is a more useful version of the inactive layer VETTRACT (which only displayed section boundaries). Known Errors/Qualifications: Two of the areas displayed in this layer were originally platted for Veteran's Tracts, but no patents were ever issued. One area in particular is now part of the Pascua Yaqui nation. Use this layer in conjunction with VETPATNT to easily find both areas with no patents. Layer boundaries don't necessarily coincide with current parcel boundaries. Lineage: Heads-up digitized using numerous original Supplemental Plats, Dependent Resurveys and Subdivisions, along with current parcel boundaries for additional guidance (4/29/2013, EG). Spatial Domain: Pima County Rectified: source map Maintenance Organization: PC Engineering Information Mgmt Maintenance Description: When updates to the geometry are needed, Lynn Jarzombek in EIM will make the edits.
